The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Della Weeks can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Gina and Bubba Hoffart
Condolence: We were next door neighbors to Mrs Weeks and the family. This family was and still is more like family than just friends. She was always there for anything. Encouragement, life stories, sports, just day to day chats. We shared so many amazing cherished times with this family and have been so blessed to have been able to share our lives with this amazing Angel. God has picked an extra special flower to add to his heavenly Garden. Spread your wings Mrs. Della. We will all rejoice again together with our precious Lord. You rest up now because we will never stop when we all get together again in Heaven . We love you and the family always.

Condolence: RIP. I know you are with our Lord. I love you and will never forget you.

Johnny, Cindy, Bruce, Tim and Mona; you have my heart felt condolences. Your Mom was an amazing woman. Your Mom and her family was a great inspiration to me. I truly can't tell you the impact she had in my life. I'm crying as I write this thinking of all the memories.

Condolence From: John D. Weeks "Johnny"
Condolence: I am Della's oldest son. She endured all my teenage shenanigans and mischief. She supported me in everything I attempted, not only as a child but also as an adult. She was stern when needed and boy did I push those moments. Mom always made friends with her neighbors no matter where she lived. Those neighbors were and still are more like family because of mom's caring and thoughtful ways. I once sent mom a letter telling her that my kids were afraid of her and she wasn't being the kind of grandma I knew her to be. Never once did I take time to think that she was surrounded by children everyday because she was a school teacher. After her retirement, she far surpassed any expectations I and my children had of what a good Grandma should be. I am very proud of my mom and miss her, not that I saw her very much, but I always had comfort knowing she was just a phone call away. Now she has gone on to be the Lord and I along with our entire family have a huge presence missing from our lives. I take joy in knowing she isn't suffering and that I haven't seen the last of her. Mom, I can only try to continue to be the husband, father and brother you raised me to be. I look forward to our reunion in Heaven. I love you more than you knew while here. I miss you. May God light your path so brightly that the residual light will bring us all together again some day.

Condolence: To my mom,
You were more than just a mom. You were my friend. You came when needed. You helped me with everything I had going on in my life, the good, the bad, and always with love. As a mom, you taught me to care, to love, to always take the high road. As a friend, you were their to hold my hand in times of need. I can't wait to see you in Glory! Oh what a day of rejoicing that will be! All of us so young and wonderfully glowing in God's love. Thank you for your faith in Jesus Christ, that I too, may come to know Him personally. I'm already missing you here on earth.... but the Lord will comfort me when I feel so blue without you. There is no other like my mother, if you didn't know her, you missed quite a lady.

Condolence: Della is my mother in law. She excepted not only me but my children into her life as if we were her own from the beginning. Her kind and sweet demeanor is unmatched by any other I have ever met. My admiration for her strength and independence is also unwavering. I loved her from the moment I met her and felt her closeness to her family. She has been the rock that has held them all together and you can see her in each of her children and grandchildren. I pray for all of my brother and sister in laws and their families and extended families which there are many that loved Della so much to find peace in knowing she is now making ready for all of our reunions in the Heavens. That what she does. She always paved the way and saw thing through to the end. Her task have only just begun in her
Mansion above. I'm sure she is planning as you all read this for that glorious day we will all be together again.

Condolence: Della is my mom.
She always had a smile on her face. She was the best mother a child could have. It saddens me that she is gone, but in my heart I know I will see her again in heaven.
My brothers and sister are strong because mom made us that way.
Mom: I miss you and I love you very much.
I will see you in heaven.
Love you always Bruce

Condolence: Della was my mother-in-law but she treated me like one of her own daughters. She welcomed me into her family since day 1 with open arms. She told me if my son (John David Weeks) is this happy with you how can I not be too... Over the years we grew so very close and I will miss our chats at 5am while visiting with her over coffee, She loved her coffee. Even though she was going through so much she always made sure everyone else was ok.
When her son finally proposed at the family reunion after so many years dating. All anyone could hear was mom saying "Well its about time"
We will miss her dearly but it gives us comfort knowing this is not the end and we will see each other again one day.
