Condolence From: Cheryl Lynn Greene Morehead
Condolence: To know Joyce is to love Joyce. I have so many wonderful memories of the times we shared growing up and even more memorable times as adults. There was never a moment in my life when I couldn't call Joyce for whatever reasons. She loved me and she treated me as if I was more than just a cousin. Joyce was my mentor in so many ways. She taught me life as only Joyce could do it. She taught me how to be strong in moments when I wanted to be weak. I could call her anytime of the day or night and some kind of way she would make me laugh. I learned a lot about life growing with Joyce. I suppose what I will miss most is her contagious laugh. Her laughter was really funny. Joyce was a good person. When I received the news of her death I curled up on the sofa and the tears just rolled down my face. I turned on my some of my favorite songs and as faith would have it "the storm is over" started playing. It was then that my tears stopped rolling and I felt peace in my heart. OMG I will miss her but Joyce's storm is over. I love you Linda Joyce Jackson. I will always love you. Your picture will now be in a frame in my room and every time I look at you I will remember the 'joy' you put into my life.
Forever, Cheryl Lynn

Condolence From: James Hester
Condolence: My condolences to the Caston families. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of dear Linda. Some Bible scriptures that have helped me during times of loss include Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:28,29 which states in part: "Your dead ones will live...They will rise up". And the Bible also says "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will forever reside upon it". Therefore the Bible promises that we may be reunited with our loved ones lost in death by means of an earthly resurrection. This is further confirmed by John 5:28,29 which says "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". This is possible thanks to Jesus Christ's ransom sacrifice. Thus we have a genuine hope of everlasting life in a world without wickedness or suffering.
