Judith Salemi

Judith Marie Salemi, cherished mother, sister and grandmother passed away on October 28, 2022 from complications from cancer and heart failure.  She was taken from us too soon.  She fought hard the last two months of her life to solve the mystery of her declining health.  She finally got her answer just before she died; amyloidosis and multiple myeloma.

She was born on December 30, 1948 in Passaic, NJ. She lived in New Jersey, New York, Arizona, Illinois and finally Texas. Judy was deeply loved by her family and friends and was really one of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet.  She brought out the best in people and always made them feel warm and welcome.  We will miss her smile, sense of humor, unique facial expressions listening ear and just spending time with the person we loved.  She loved unconditionally and led by example rather than words.  She enjoyed the simple moments in life; a good cup of coffee, the sunshine, a good book and time with her animals.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Leonard John Salemi. Judy is survived by her daughter Jamie from Palatine IL, her daughter Tara, her son-in-law Mike, grandkids Sophie and Luke from The Woodland, TX and her sister Cindy and brother Mark from Nutley, NJ.

We will miss you mom, thank you for all of your blessings, you were like a butterfly in our hearts and we will look out for you whenever we see one come and go into our lives and give thanks for yours.  Rest in peace our guardian angel.

There will be a Celebration of Life in December at Lord of Life Lutheran Church.  It will be held in The Woodlands, Texas and streamed and recorded for online viewing at https://lolonline.org/funerals/

The service will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 4pm at Lord of Life Lutheran Church 3801 S. Panther Creek Dr., The Woodlands, TX.
