Aileen Theresa Morton, 42, unexpectedly passed away after a tragic hit and run on the evening of February 28, 2015. Aileen was born in Houston Texas on June 30, 1972. She was the �rst child of Marie Anita Goodwin and Michael Riley Goodwin. Aileen graduated from Galena Park High School in Galena Park, Texas in 1990 and went on to college at San Jacinto in Pasadena, Texas. She graduated with an associates of Science and obtained her registered nursing license. Aileen was a passionate nurse and genuinely loved everyone. She was a free spirit that spoke to everyone and her compassion towards others was a natural part of her every day life. She went on to marry her high school sweetheart Charles Morton and had two children, Damon Morton and Katie Parish, two of the most important people of her life. She also had an extremely close relationship with God and loved Christian music. Aileen loved the simpler things in life: singing, gardening, nature, thunderstorms, garage sales and Christmas.She spent quiet time crocheting and making crafts to give away to others and she constantly had people laughing with her huge sense of humor. Aileen will be missed and remembered by many people. Aileen is survived by her mother, Marie Anita Goodwin, children Damon Morton and Katie Parish, Four sisters; Jennifer Goodwin Hernandez, Kathy Goodwin, Lori Goodwin Hall, and Rachel Goodwin and their spouses, and Granddaughters Carley Ann Parish and Riley Kate Parish. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, Aunt Nancy and Uncle Vern Villwock of Missouri as well as other Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by Father, Michael Riley Goodwin, Grandmother Cecilia Bragg, Grandfather Woodrow Bragg and also Grandparents LaVerne and John Goodwin.
