Aniceta Avellaneda Galvan, age 78 beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend was received into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, the 16th of July 2022.
She was born in Michoacan De Ocampo, Mexico on the 4th day of June 1944, to Lorenza Medina Baltazar and Tomas Galvan Ortega and Relocated to Houston, Texas in the year of 1980.
Aniceta enjoyed having a house full of family and sharing many delicious home cooked meals. She was fulfilled by being in service to her children and then grandchildren. She touched the lives of many in her family and beyond. Aniceta will be remembered for her bravery, and strong will.
Bravery by way of coming to the United States not knowing how to read, write and continually working to reunite our family. For working with immigration and getting her husband, 4 sons and two daughters naturalized and eventually on the path to citizenship.
Aniceta is survived by her Children, son Jose Avellaneda, son Andres Avellaneda, son Germain Avellaneda, by her daughter Abissaig Garcia, daughter Erendira Avellaneda and grandchildren Ceci, Manuel (Chellito), Angel, Jessica, Lupe, Bubba, Jr, Paul, Jacob, Alexander, Abbie, Anna Abigail, Alissa, Germain II, Vanessa, and 13 great grandchildren.
Our hearts are delighted to share that Aniceta accepted Christ prior to her passing and she is with the Lord. We will cherish the memories of her strong personality and look forward to one day being in the presence of our Savior, Jesus.
