Bettye June Spears

Bettye June Spears was born on July 5, 1931, in Strong, Arkansas. She passed away peacefully on Feb. 6, 2025, at the age of 93 in Houston, Texas. She was the daughter of Dee Johnson and Eva Lum Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Doyce Spears. She is survived by her daughters Cara Barer and Lynn Rich, grandchildren Brooke Barer, David Barer, Rae Ellen Kuehner and Robert White, great grandchildren Desmond Barer, Early Barer, Jocie Haughton, Aubrey White and Kayda White. She served in the United States Airforce during the Korean War. She loved her family and dedicated her life to them and her husband.

Services will be held at Brazell Funeral Chapel in Blevins, Arkansas. Date and time will be posted on their website.
