Bonnie Jean Magee, Aged 66 was set free from her long battle with cancer on the evening of June 14, 2017, surrounded by her two daughters. Bonnie was born in Butler Township, PA on October 19, 1950 Daughter of Elmer L. Fetterolf and Cecely J. Wehry. Her free spirit took her to the exotic island of Puerto Rico at the young age of 19, where she taught herself Spanish and became a local for the next 10 years. Bonnie later moved to Houston, Texas where she attended Houston Community College for nursing. Upon graduation, she went on to work at Houston Methodist Hospital as an SICU nurse for more than 20 years. Bonnie was a member at Sugar Creek Country Club where she spent all of her free time on the golf course. Her passion for golf took her to Scotland to see the Ryder cup and to Georgia to see the Masters. Outspoken, vivacious, colorful, full of life, Bonnie lived her life to the fullest. She raised her two daughters Mandy Raquel Cabrera and Lacy Lynn Magee and loved her pets dearly and had many nick names for them. Many will remember Bonnie by her funny words, colorful outfits, platinum blonde hair and crazy long socks. Bonnie is survived by her brothers and sisters: Kathy Klinger, Lori Fetterolf-Fitzwater, David Fetterolf and Randy Fetterolf she also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends. As she requested she was cremated and the celebration of her life will be held at Sugar Creek Country Club on June24, 2017.
