With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Brenda Cook, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who touched countless lives with her love and kindness. Brenda was a beacon of warmth and care, someone who dedicated herself selflessly to the wellbeing of those around her.
Preceded in death by her cherished daughter, Stacey Cook, and her devoted husband, Brent Cook, Brenda is survived by her loving son, David Cook, who continues to carry forward her legacy. She also reunites in peace with her parents, William and Peralee Bobo, and siblings Harold Bobo, Ruby Johnson, Billie Bobo, Doris Jamerson, Linda Seber, and Deanie Cox.
Brenda’s love for her grandchildren—Caleb, David Jr., Stacey, and Blake—was immeasurable. They were her pride and joy, and her face would light up whenever she spoke of them. A loyal fan of the Houston Astros and Houston Texans, Brenda found joy in cheering for her teams.
She will be remembered for her nurturing spirit. She was a true caretaker, always putting others first and ensuring that everyone around her felt loved and cared for. Her beautiful smile had the power to light up any room, and her presence brought comfort and joy to all who knew her.
Brenda is also leaving behind many cherished friends and relatives, whose lives she touched with her kindness and generosity.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, as they cherish the countless moments of love and laughter they shared with her. Brenda will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
