Carol Craig

April 9, 1941 — July 7, 2021

Carol Jean Craig passed from time into eternity on July 7th, 2021, after a long battle with cardiovascular disease.  Carol was born to Daniel Charles and Beatrice P. Henderson (Stephens) on April 9th, 1941, in Wellsville, OH and raised in nearby East Liverpool.

Carol worked as a registered nurse for many years in various hospitals. In 2006, she moved to Spring, TX to be closer to her son, Stephen, and his wife Mangi. Carol has been a faithful member of Fallbrook Church serving in various ministries such as Vacation Bible School, Seasoned Treasures, Quilting Ministry, and Women's Bible Study.

Carol had a lifelong love of theater and reading and she volunteered in these areas throughout her life. She is survived by her sons, Kevin (Jacksonville, FL) and Stephen and his wife Mangi (Tomball, TX); granddaughter, Mathapelo (Pelo); and many families and friends around the world. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother (Daniel), and many loving cousins.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the friends and family who have supported Carol throughout her illness.  In lieu of flowers, food, or gifts, the family would like all gifts to be made in Carol's name to the Ensemble Theater of Houston (3535 Main St, Houston, TX 77002 - 713-520-0055) or the educational programs of Fallbrook Lone Star Campus, Houston (12750 Walters Road – 832-813-6500).

The service will be held on Friday, July 23rd at 11:00 am CST, at Fallbrook Church, which is located at 12512 Walters Rd., Houston, Texas, 77014. Covid-19 safety protocols will be in place. The service will also be live streamed on the Fallbrook YouTube page.
