Catherine "Cathy" Jean Peeples-McArdle went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday September 8, 2018. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard E. Peeples, maternal grandparents Thomas H. Robertson and Myrtle (Morrow) Robertson, and her paternal grandparents Richard E. Peeples and Emogene (Wells) Peeples.
Cathy was born in Greenville, Mississippi on March 6, 1978. Her early childhood was spent in Starkville, Mississippi and in 1989, along with her family, moved to Houston, Texas where she graduated from Mayde Creek High School in 1996. She is survived by her husband Travis McArdle, her sons Reed (Richard) Taylor Peterson, Jordan Richard Peeples, and Seth Travis Peeples; her mother Carolyn (Robertson) Peeples-Hagler, stepfather William A. Hagler, sisters Cindy Peeples-McCorkle (Chris), and Christy Peeples-Guzman; Nephews Anthony Guzman, Dustin Banks, Sean Peeples, and Nathan Jiminez, nieces Alexis Baker, Hayley Banks, and Valerie Guzman; Uncle Mike Peeples, Uncle James E. Robertson (Dorothy), and numerous cousins. She also leaves behind a host of friends that she acquired over her short lifetime.
To all whom had the pleasure of ever knowing her, she touched each and every one of us in some special way. She will be deeply mourned by her family and friends, and while we know that tears and sadness accompany the loss of someone you loved and cared about, Cathy would tell you, "Don't worry; don't cry for me. I am happy and in heaven surrounded by all of my family and friends who went before me. I am able to once again sing along while my daddy plays the piano. I am in the presence of my Lord and Savior, and I am no longer in pain or suffering. Please think of me fondly and see me in all of the little things. I have left you physically but I am still here with you in spirit. There will come a day when we will all meet again, but until that time, please don't be sad. Rejoice in the fact that I am with God, and that I am reunited with my earthly father.
To my boys, Jordan and Seth - Please be strong. Take care of each other. Look out for each other. Love each other as much as I love you. I promise you that one day, we will be together again.
To my husband Travis - We were soul mates and I loved you so very much. Please try not to be too sad that I am gone. Carry on our love for each other and share that love with our boys so that they have comfort. I promise you that one day, we will all be together again, reunited as a family.
To my family and friends - Take comfort in the assurance that I am in heaven and rejoicing with all of my family friends and family here. I am in the presence of my Heavenly father and I will be here waiting for you to join me.
"Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine." Isaiah 43:1
