CHARLES CLAIR BROWN "Charlie" Left this Earthly world Thursday April 21st 2016; surrounded by love and family. Charlie was a Father, Grand Father and Great Grandfather. He grew up in Waco Texas and was born February 8, 1941. He was the son of a Constable / Butcher and garnered the nick name Butch while growing up. He Graduated from Waco High 1959 and started school at Sam Houston State then moved to Houston where he married and had one child. During this time he was an avid fisherman and would fish for fun and in tournaments for the next 30 years! He started his career in the graphic design department at NASA where he worked for several years. Eventually he started his own "Commercial Art Studio" and remained self-employed as an artist for the rest of his life! "Charlie Brown Studios"... In 1994 he founded the "Houston School of Art & Design" Where for the next 20 years he taught, mentored and became a friend to many more. He made a profound impact on some and for many his sense of humor could lighten the day and put a smile on anyone's face! He touched the lives of many throughout his 50 years around the Art Community in Houston Texas. He was also an expert pocket billiards player. He made many more friends and associates playing a game he learned very early in life. He enjoyed this hobby for decades and many of the people who will miss him he met "Playing Pool"!!! He leaves this earthly world having accomplished much and loved many. May his spirit live on in the art he leaves behind as well as the many lives he touched. You will be missed dearly -- God speed Charlie Brown! He is survived by his only Son John and is wife Ana, Grandchildren: Ricardo, Adriana, Myra, Brandon and Great-grandson Grayson. His Brother Clifford Brown his wife Vicky and their family.
