Dana Marcelle Stork, age 55, passed away surrounded by her children at Houston Harbor Hospice Center on November 1st 2016 after a two-year battle with stage IV colon cancer. Born March 31st, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois. She spent her childhood in Rockford and attended East Rockford High School before moving to Montana to attend Montana State University and start her family with ex-husband, Brad. They then settled in Lake Wildwood, Illinois, where they would raise their four children in a home filled with love and adventure. She spent her last years in Houston, Texas and worked at Complete Women's Care Center. She will be forever loved by her children: Lindsay Bogner (Drew) of Henry, Illinois, Laura Lock (Josh) of Houston, Texas, Danny Stork (Kelley) of Hopewell, Illinois and Kira Stork (Houston, Texas); her grandchildren, Braden and Bennett Bogner and Merrick and Baby Boy Lock; her parents Bruna & Irvin Holt and siblings Elizabeth Wenner, Gregory Sederquist, Jack Holt and Chris Freeland. Dana was preceded in death by her father Merritt Yale and brother Steve Holt. Dana always saw the beauty and adventure in life. She was spirited, creative and fearless; the kind individual who will be terribly missed. She found happiness in the joy that everyday brought her and saw the best in every situation. She enjoyed hobbies such as kayaking, horseback riding, camping, biking, painting, and spending time with her family, friends, and animals.
