Donald Daugherty

Donald L Daugherty of La Porte Texas passed away March 24,2015 after a short battle with cancer. Born August 1, 1949 in Tacoma ,Washington to Fred and Dolores Daugherty. Don moved to La Porte after trade school to drive trucksand do mechanic work at Sealand Services with ILA local 28 for more than 30 years. He also worked at Barbors Cut and Bayport terminals as a crane operator for the Port of Houston. Many thanks go to Hallmark Hospice. And to Pat & Brad,so kind and helpful. Don is survived by his wife, Phyllis, the love of his life. A sister Marjorie McAdams Fredericksburg, Texas, and a niece and nephew. Thanks to all the friends that have helped me at his time. To honor Don a memorial picnic will be held at a later date.
