Donald Ray Pickett, 75, of Alvin, Texas passed away Friday, September 25, 2015. Don was born to Clyde and Veda Pickett in El Campo, Texas on September 21, 1940. He was a life long resident of Alvin. Don served in the U.S. Army after graduating from Alvin High School in 1961. He married his wife Carol Pickett in 1965. They were Married for 50 years. Don is preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Veda Pickett and his brother Wilbert Pickett. He leaves behind his devoted wife Carol Pickett, his daughters, Kim Pickett and Holly Pickett, Holly's fiance Joseph Toucheck, his son Joshua Pickett, Josh's fiance Jamie Jewel, his 12 Grandchildren, Cole Pickett (whom he raised as his son), Ashley Murchison, Katie Wilkinson, Emily Wilkinson, Joshua Pickett, Jr., April Hodge, Jace Pickett, Rylee Pickett, Angel Lopez, Dasha Lopez, Jordan Lopez and Kara Pickett and 5 Great Grandchildren. There will be a celebration of Mr. Pickett's life at Resoft Park on Sunday, October 4th from 1pm to 4pm. at the Plaster Pavilion.
