E. Glynn Moore, age 81, passed away in his sleep on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 surrounded by his family after a long battle with Multiple System Atrophy and Dementia. Glynn was born in Bogalusa, LA, to Hardy Hilman and Louisie Blackwell Moore and was the youngest of three children. Glynn is survived by his wife of 52 years Lindajane Laliberte Moore of Houston, TX; daughter Amy Kirsten Moore of Houston, TX; Cory Glynn and Jennifer Moore of Damon, TX; Jamie Todd Moore of Austin, TX and HoHo of Houston, TX. Glynn is also survived by three cherished grandsons: Cody Glynn Moore, Zachary Thomas Moore, and Joshua Aaron Moore. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Troy Moore and is survived by his sister & brother-in-law Betty & Buster Barber. Glynn served in the US Army overseas and later graduated from LSU and was a life-long LSU Tiger college football fan. He met his wife Lindajane (originally from New Hampshire) while rooming with her brother, Wayne Laliberte, in Houston.. They married soon thereafter and began growing their family. Over his career, Glynn worked in a variety of fields but spent most of his career and retired in control systems design. Glynn enjoyed photography and gardening. In lieu of a funeral, a gathering of friends and family will be hosted at the home of Christine Kirchner (418 W. Cowan Drive, Hou, TX, 77007) on Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 2-5 pm.
