Elba Garza

Elba H. Garza On the evening of September 6, 2015 Elba passed away at Kindred Hospital with the comfort of her husband Cliff by her side. Elba was born in Houston TX. October 17, 1954. She was the third child of Federico and Josefa Hernandez. Elba was a woman of great faith. She loved sharing the word of God. Her favorite things to do were dancing, match making, and decorating. Elba's spirit was contagious. She had a special way of making anyone who entered her home feel like family, welcoming them with open arms. She had so much joy in giving whether it was a gift, or her time, or her talents. Elba's family brightened her day, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She would always make even the smallest accomplishments in life a big deal and a celebration. Elba raised two amazing children who through her example, learned to love unconditionally and to give whole-heartedly without wanting anything in return. That love has passed down to her grandchildren who loved their Gammie so much. Her legacy is one many strive for, one that any believer in God would be proud to leave behind. Elba is survived by her husband Cliff Garza, her mother Josefa Hernandez, her siblings John, Dora, Rosa, and Federico Hernandez. Her children Cliff Allen and Melisa, and her grandchildren Caleb, Kobi, Stella, and Kennedy. A memorial service to celebrate Elba's life will be held at Victory Christian Center, located at 11420 Cutten Road, Houston, TX. 77066 Saturday September 12, 2015 at 2:00 P.M.
