Eunice Eni

July 15, 1940 — January 5, 2017

Eunice Udo "Nene" Eni was born July 15, 1940 to Mazi Okoro Ukwu Eni and Madame Rose Ola Udonsi Eni. She was the third child and "Ada" or first daughter of seven. She attended Mary Slessor Missionary Secondary School in Arochukwu, Nigeria. She trained as one of the Pioneer Women in Banking and Finance at Hofstra University in New York, and headed branches of Bank of America's then Savannah Bank in Nigeria. She later retired from her banking career and studied to become an ordained minister at Rhema Bible School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Rev. Eni was called home on January 5th, 2017 while on her knees quietly in prayer. Public viewing and memorial service will occur on Saturday, January 28th from 1-5 PM with Integrity Funeral Care, 3915 Dacoma, Ste E., Houston, TX 77092. Flowers, gifts or donations can be made in her honor. We thank God for having the opportunity to have this remarkable woman touch our lives.
