Foster White

Foster Elwood White, born Aug. 18, 1932, to Velma and Roy White in Sacramento, CA. passed on July 2, 2012 into our Lord's hands. Preceded in death by daughter, Mary White and brother, Kevin White Survived by his wife of over 40 years, Eileen White; son Fred and wife Kelly of Houston, TX.; younger son Thomas Anthony Elwood and wife Yadira of LaPorte,TX.; and daughter Heidi Helen of Houston, TX.; two granddaughters, Josselyn and Yadira Eileen; and four grandsons, Josue, Jason, Mario(Jr.), Thomas Andrew(Jr.) Foster served in radar with the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Foster was a loving husband, an outstanding father, and a wonderful grandfather. He was full of stories and had a unique sense of humor that we all loved to hear. He was a down-to-earth man and relished every moment he spent with his family. He will always be sorely missed and greatly remembered. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Star of Hope Missions 713-440-5341. A committal service will be held at the VA Houston National Cemetery at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 11, 2012.
