Frances Rocha, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend to many, passed away peacefully at her home in Houston, TX on August 5th, 2024. She was 70 years old, born in San Fernando, Mexico on October 4th, 1953.
Frances lived a life filled with love and laughter. Her husband Joe Rocha was the love of her life and she raised two wonderful children - Marc Guillen (married to Chaz) and Sandra Arismendez. Frances adored her family and always put their needs before her own. She cherished every moment spent with them and created countless beautiful memories that will be treasured forever.
In addition to her immediate family members, Frances leaves behind siblings who were not only relatives but also dear friends - Lucio Rosas (married to Kim), Ludivina Casas (married to Abel), and Jose Rosas (married to Paula). Her warm heart extended beyond blood relations as she had numerous nieces, nephews, step children, and friends who were touched by her love and kindness.
Frances was known for being a hard worker who never shied away from lending a helping hand. Her selflessness knew no bounds as she consistently prioritized the well-being of others over herself. Whether it was through acts of service or simply offering an empathetic ear, Frances made everyone around her feel loved and supported.
One of Frances's greatest joys in life was traveling on cruises as they allowed her to experience the world while surrounded by those she loved most. Her adventurous spirit inspired those around her to embrace new experiences with open arms.
Those fortunate enough to know Frances understood that she truly embodied the phrase "life of the party." Her infectious laughter could light up any room while bringing joy into the lives of others. Even during difficult times, Frances found ways to uplift those around her with humor and compassion.
A Requiem Mass will be held on Friday August 16, 2024 at 3pm at St Patrick's Church, 4918 Cochran St. Houston, TX 77009, followed by a Celebration Of Life Reception at 5pm at Sokol Hall, 1314 W. Patton St. Houston TX, 77009, where all are welcome to honor Frances's memory alongside one another.
Frances Rocha will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched; however we take comfort knowing that she has left behind an enduring legacy built upon love and compassion.
