REFLECTIONS OF LIFE Mr. Frank Baker Jr. was born in Warrenton, North Carolina on February 11,1933 to the late Frank and Martha Spruill Baker. He departed this life on February 16, 2016 in Houston Texas. He was married to the late Cora Lee Baker and to their union two daughters and one son was born, Ruthann, Lorraine, Ronnie and God-daughter Andrea Bryant. As a young man, he left North Carolina for Paterson New Jersey where he married Cora and started their family. Many years later he would tire of the big city and returned home to Warrenton North Carolina where he would later retire. For the pass eight years he resided in Cypress, Texas to be near his daughters. Mr. Baker always proudly acknowledged Shocco Chapel Baptist Church, Warrenton North Carolina as his church of record; where he was baptized, and first experienced God working in his life. He was not always a faithful church attendee, however, he reverence God; and knew where his help came from, God Almighty. It wasn't until this last year, that he recommitted to God and was re-baptized. Mr. Baker was a truck driver by traded, and was employed by Paterson Dispatch Trucking, in Paterson N.J. for the majority of his career. After returning to North Carolina, he was employed at Greystone Quarry in Henderson, where he later retired after nearly 30 years of service. He leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters: Ruthann Obidigbo of Tomball, Texas, and Lorraine Crawford of Cypress Texas; One son, Ronnie Baker of Paterson New Jersey; one God-daughter, Andrea Bryant of Macon Georgia; two son-in-laws: Raphael Obidigbo and George Crawford; and one daughter-in-law, Michelle Baker. He has five grandchildren: Teidra Baker, Lamarcus Carter, Amanda Obidigbo, Travis Crawford and Aaron Obidigbo and two greatgrandchildren Jayda, Jaiden. He has five brothers: James Edward Baker, Alfred Baker, William Henry Baker, Earnest Baker, Wilbert Baker; and six sisters: Eva Tyler, Ella Scott, Annie Walden, Jessie Gurley, Susan Williams, Sarah Harris; and a host of brother and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
