Frank Beneke Jr.

FRANK HENRY BENEKE, Jr. 1924-2015 Frank Beneke died September 19, 2015. He was born to Emma McNee Beneke and Frank Henry Beneke December 23, 1924, and was a fifth generation Houstonian. Preceded in death by wife, Gwen Williams Beneke, sisters: Katherine Beneke Smith (Orrien), Inez Beneke Green (John), and brother Milton Nelson Beneke (Velda). Survived by nieces: Suzanne Smith Lyons (Tom, deceased), Mary Kay Green (Robert Marley), Mary Kay Smith Freeman; nephews James Russell Smith (Sherry), Milton Nelson Beneke, Jr. (Wanda) of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and John Fisher Green, ll. He graduated from San Jacinto High School, The University of Texas, was retired from Crown Central Petroleum as chief engineer and served as an Ensign in the Pacific, WWll. He had a deep abiding faith and a great love for fishing and the outdoors. The family is grateful for the steadfast love and support of his faithful caregivers: Gullermina Lorenzana, Blanca Cortez, and Melissa Salazar. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2015, 2:00 PM, Forest Park Lawndale.
