Gail Davis, age 67, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital after a two year battle with Cancer. She was born September 5, 1949 in Alice, TX, to the late Lee Robert and Hazel McElroy Wasicek. She grew up in Orange Grove and then moved to Houston. She worked at the Pig Stand on Washington Avenue in downtown Houston for 35 years as a waitress and manager. She enjoyed occasional trips to the casino, board games with the family and loved cooking, especially around the Holidays. She is survived by her son, Lee Robert Alberti of Bernice, LA, a daughter, Lisa Stewart of Fresno, her granddaughters, Amy Stewart of League City, Lacy & Macy Alberti of Farmerville, LA, her grandson, Billy Ray Stewart and wife Ofelia of Pearland, her nieces Jamie Wasicek of Houston and Sheila Tuttle of Woodsboro, her great grandchildren, Dylan & Gabriella Stewart of Pearland, nephews Steven Korff of Bay City, Bill Wasicek of Austin, two aunts Bettye Harris of Bay City & Phebe Alford of Temple. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Roger Dale Wasicek (her twin), Robert Lee Wasicek, sister Hilda Paulette "Susie" Korff, nephew Scott Lee Wasicek.
