Genebra (Neb) Frances Millet, 84, of Cypress,Texas died at 3:15 PM on January 8, 2017 at Willowbrook Residence and Rehab Center in Houston,Texas. She was born December 2, 1932 in Nacogdoches,Texas to W. J. and Matille Butaud. She married John Walter Millet on June 3, 1950 in Crowley, LA. She is survived by her son John Walter Millet, Jr. (Rosy) Millet of Stephenville, Texas, two daughters Susan McPhail of Pasadena,Texas and Amy Lynn Millet of Cypress,Texas. Five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Neb's husband John Walter Millet, Sr. and her son, Charles Randall Millet preceded her in death. Neb was a long time resident of Pasadena,Texas and then lived in Cypress,Texas with her daughter Amy Millet. She was a member of Cypress Bible Church where she attened church and Tuesday monring bible study. She loved to read, stay on top of politics, read her bible especially the book of Revelations, do counted cross stitch, color, and play borad or card games. Neb was a PTA/PTO president from the 1960s-1990s and was honored in 1988 as a long time member of the organzation. The memorial will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Cypress Bible Church in the chapel at 10 AM and a reception will be held after in the Outreach building. Pastor Pete Rikard will be officiating the memorial. In lieu of flowers you may give donations to The Navigators, Houston Food Bank, and The American Cancer Society.
