Gerald Ross Brittain August 16, 1942 - January 7, 2018 Gerald Ross Brittain (Jerry), 75, of Houston, Texas passed away peacefully at home the morning of January 7, 2018. Jerry was born to Roy and Pauline Brittain of Houston, Texas on August 16, 1942. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and avid fisherman. Jerry is survived by his loving wife Annie Brittain, his sister Martha McClendon, brother Robert Brittain and sister-in-law Rosanne Brittain, son Paul Brittain and daughter-in-law Dinora Brittain, daughter Anna Wiederhold and son-in-law Richard Wiederhold as well as nine grandchildren Brandi, Robert, Elizabeth, Sunny, Dayana, Andrea, Paul Junior, Jonathan and April, two great grandchildren Ethan and Eli and other loving family members and friends. It was Jerry's wish to be cremated and for his ashes to be scattered at sea. For those who wish to make a donation, it is the family's request that one be made to Houston Methodist J. C.
