Helen Cassel

Martha Helen Cassel, 80, passed away on December 29, 2015. She was born in Navarro County, Texas on June 8, 1935. She retired in 1992 from the Jefferson County Clerk's Office after being employed there for 30 years. Her husband, DeLane Cassel, preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Dorna and Steve Rohrman, son and daughter-in-law Rocky and Carrie Cassel, daughter and son-in-law Wendy and Randy Morton, grandson Chris Rohrman and grandson and wife Justin and Kathryn Rohrman. She also had two great-grandsons Connor and Ethan Rohrman. She is also survived by her brother and wife Bobby and Nina Griggs and sister Jodie Sims. As she requested, no funeral service will be held. A family gathering will be held on a boat carrying her ashes which will be scattered in the same location as her husband's ashes. Cremation will be handled by Integrity Funeral Care in Houston, Texas.
