Herman Griffith

Herman E. Griffith age 91, a devoted husband, dad and granddad passed away peacefully January 15th with family by his side. He is survived by his loving wife of 74 years, Jackie Griffith, daughter Janet Clements and husband Jerry, daughter Gayle Griffith Coulam, son Alex Griffith and wife DeeDee, son Scott Griffith and brother Leo Griffith and wife Peggy. He was proceeded by his son Johnny Griffith. He is survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Herman was a very loved person and will truly be missed by all. He loved his family, his church, fishing and being outside. Herman and Jackie were long time members of Champions Forest Baptist Church. He worked at Sear's for many years and owned Griff's Auto Service for numerous years before retiring. A special thanks to the staff at Magnolia Place and Good Shepherd Hospice for making his finial months comfortable. Visitation will be at 9:30 am on Monday, January 21 with memorial service following at Champions Forest Baptist Church 15555 Stuebner Airline Road, Houston, Texas 77069. Flowers should be delivered between 8 am and 9 am or in lieu of flowers please make a donation to Good Shepherd Hospice at 14511 Falling Creek #204, Houston, Texas 77014.
