Iris Bell

Iris Castex Bell- The final Chapter of her earthly life was closed on June 5, 2017. Iris was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister & friend. She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. & Mrs. Gabriel Castex Jr. She is survived by her husband, George S. Bell and daughter, Misti Bell Porter (Talivu), four grandchildren whom she adored and counted as one of God's greatest gifts to her. She is survived by four sisters who were her best friends. Five nieces and one nephew. Iris did her best to live each day to the fullest. Her greatest joy was being able to serve others. Iris was known for writing and sending notes and cards of encouragement for the famous breads she baked. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2017, 7:00 PM at Windsor Village United Methodist Church, 6000 Heatherbrook Dr., Houston, Texas 77085.
