Jason Ego

Jason Jon Ego passed away on Monday, March 22nd in Kingwood, TX after an almost four year battle with colon cancer.

Jason was an avid movie quoter, champion speed skater, amazing husband and magnificent father who never failed to put a smile on your face and was loved by all who knew him. His daughters Amara and Ava enjoyed their car-ride talks with their dad about life, football and Marvel movies on their way to and from school and extracurricular activities. Jason was always there for his girls as well as his family and friends. There was never a dull moment when you were with him, and he kept his sense of humor and kind nature through his final days which were spent surrounded by beloved family and close friends. Jason met his wife, the former Patti Durda at the Galaxy Arena when they were both kids. Their paths crossed again years later and they were married on September 28th, 2002. Jason is survived by his parents Max and Lana Ego, his mother in law Patricia Durda, his wife Patti, his brother Justin (Sarah) Ego, his daughters Alex (Alec) Magaluk, and Amara and Ava Ego, his nephew Travis, and his granddaughters Addie, Aspen, and Aulive Magaluk.

A memorial luncheon will be held in Muskegon this summer.
