Jennifer Johnson Chance

Jennifer was born on Sunday, November 30, 1952, to Francis Marie and Albert R. Johnson in Birmingham Alabama. 

Jennifer's life was filled with love and family. Her most cherished memories were of the holidays where everyone would gather at her home. She would cook enough to feed an army and boy did she have one. 

Spending time with her children and spoiling the Grandchildren was her favorite pass time. Not a visit went by that they were not offered sodas, cookies, candy, or ice cream. NANA, as she was called by her grands, loved to see smiles on the faces of the little ones and would do anything to elicit one. She will forever be with all of us in our thoughts and in our hearts.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her mother Francis Marie Mitchell, father Albert (AR) Johnson, and brother Stephen "Ralph" Johnson.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years Richard Chance, her four children Christopher Thrift (Marie), Ryan Johnson (Aprille), Tiffany Chance, and Misty Chance. Her three grandchildren, Bonnie, Gaven, Kyler and one great-grandchild Jonathan. Her stepmother Shirley Johnson, brother Albert R. Johnson Jr. (Misty),niece and nephew Susan Nichols (Kyle), Eric Johnson.

A celebration of life will be held on January 20 at Glidden Baptist Church in Glidden, Tx. @ 2:00pm. There will be a small gathering afterwards. in the church aux. to share some food and memories.
