Joan Harrington

Harrington, Joan Marie age 87 of Houston, TX. died peacefully and surrounded by family on Thursday July 12th, 2018. Born on February 4th, 1931 in Chicago, IL., Joan was a Houston resident for 48 years and was a department manager at Sears until her retirement in 1995. Following her retirement Joan continued to work as a water aerobics instructor while enjoying domestic and international leisure travel with her beloved family. Joan is survived by her devoted children; Patrick; Michael and wife Carla; Mary Favre; Timothy; Thomas and wife Holly; Brian and wife Lisa; Maggie Olmeda and husband Richard; and Joseph. Grandchildren Stephanie Womacks, Shannon Patrick, Lee, Katherine, Roderick, Samantha, Jacob, Joshua, Mariah, and Andrew. Great grandchildren Zoe Bourdon, Isaiah Wilkins, Cole and Kai Patrick. Funeral services will be held on Monday July 16th at 11:00 AM with a Mass at St. Francis de Sales, 8200 Roos Road, Houston, 77036. A private interment of Joan's ashes will be held on September 18th, 2018 at the Veterans Administration National Memorial Cemetery where she will be rejoined with her beloved husband Harry.
