John Thomas Cash, Jr., 73, passed away Monday, November 5, 2018 in Sugar Land, Texas. John was born January 28, 1945 to John T. (D-Dad) and Lynnette N. (Nonnie) Cash in Houston, Texas, the oldest of three children. He graduated from Refugio High school in 1962. John graduated from The University of Texas on August 1, 1968 with a Bachelor's Degree of Business Administration from the McCombs School of Business.
John served in the United States Air Force. He completed his training in Fort Knox, Kentucky and Fort Wayne, Indiana.
After graduating college in 1968, John began his lifetime career in the metal industry in Tulsa, Oklahoma transferring to Houston in 1976. John's hobbies included photography, gourmet cooking, love of traveling abroad and touring civil war memorials.
John is survived by his wife, Vera Felder Cash; son, Jeff Reagan Cash from Cypress, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Heather Marie and Joseph Grass from Cypress; grandchildren, Haley Cash, Caleb Grass and Madelyn Grass; brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Donna Cash from Cypress; sister and brother-in-law, Melanie and Brock Kalmbach from Florence, Texas; nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Angela Diane Cash.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home and Cemetery in the Texas Liberty Mausoleum and Heritage Chapel in the Reflection Lake Estates Section at 12:30 PM with Pastor Michael Tadlock officiating.
