Joseph Bridges

After two years of suffering with congestive heart failure, our Lord took Joseph Allen Bridges home to be with him on September 6, 2016. Joseph was born March 1, 1947 in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. He is the son of the late Catherine Louise Brevard and the late John Henry Bridges and the third child of 5 siblings. He is survived by his loving wife, Diana Lynn Harris Bridges of 43 years, his Godson Joseph Secilia of Houston, Texas, his sister Deborah Bridges and niece Simone of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, sister-in-law Letitia Bridges (wife to his deceased brother, Clifford Michael Bridges), niece Brittany Michele, nephew Michael J, all of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania , his sister in-law Wendy Isaac Croft Schmitt ( husband Tracy) of Washington, DC, his brother in law Michael Tilghman of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, his cousins A J Bridges of California, Rod Paige of Houston, Texas, Raygene Paige of Mississippi, and a host of close friends. Joseph made Houston, Texas his home in February of 1982, where he enjoyed his professions of Electronic Bench Technician, and Mechanical Draftsman. He retired from the Hewlett Packard Corporation in 2012. He lived a robust life until he became ill, with his loving wife Diana. He loved warm weather, the Pittsburgh Steelers football team, the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball team, traveling, and just having a good time. God has blessed us with your presence in this world. I will be forever grateful. You are my true love, and will be forever in my heart.
