Judy Joanna

Judy Joanna Collins was born Sept 29,1949 in Brownsville, TX and passed at age 66 in Pasadena, TX on May 13, 2016. She was preceded in death by her father Edward C. Collins, mother Emily Collins and sister Patricia Dale Collins Shotwell. She is survived by her sons Michael Epperson of Round Rock, Texas , Kevin Epperson of Austin, Texas and daughter Misty Widerstrom of Killeen, Texas She is also survived by her brothers Edward C Collins of Splendora, Texas and Francis Eugene Collins of Pasadena. She had 4 grandkids: Emily Epperson, Isabella Epperson , Anthony Widerstrom and Isaiah Widerstrom and 1-great grandchild Alozno Widerstorm.. Judy was the daughter of E6 Edward Collins of the US Army and they traveled and lived in various locations including Brownsville, Germany, El Paso, Killeen, San Antonio, Harlingen and Pasadena. Judy retired from WalMart after more than 15 years of service. In her time spare time she dedicated her time to the church, her faith,spending time with her lifelong friends and above all she loved her family. As a youngster Judy was very athletic and developed a love and ability to play baseball and tether ball. She was often picked first when neighborhood kids would pick teams. She also enjoyed reading christian novels and volunteering . Please join us in celebrating Judy's life Tuesday May 17th at Zion Lutheran Church in Pasadena Texas. Viewing will be from 11-1 with services beginning at 1pm. After burial, there will be refreshments served at Zion
