Linda Swope

The Lord called home the most beautiful soul. Linda Louise Huber Swope passed away on February 24, 2022 in Houston, Texas. Linda was born on May 28, 1947 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to Dorothy Watson Noaker and William Huber. Linda is proceeded in death by her mother and father.

Linda is survived by her two sons Kevin Swope (Allyson) and Timothy Swope, sister Laura Noaker, granddaughters Kayla and Adalyn, grandsons Jack, Gavin and Kaden and a great-granddaughter McKinley.

Linda was a loving homemaker until her sons became adults. She enjoyed doing secretarial work in Alief ISD and at VERGI Vet Clinic. After a successful 22- year career at Alief ISD Olle Middle School, she retired in 2019. She enjoyed reading and watching jeopardy. She loved her sons and grandkids. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She will be dearly missed.

A private memorial for family will be held in Houston.

In Linda’s honor, please donate to Houston Hospice, 1905 Holcombe Blvd., sew a “cough” pillow for people recovering from cardiac surgeries, or plant a tree in her memory.
