Lorine Peters Kirkham 1933- 2017 Lorine Kirkham, loving wife of James Kirkham, Jr and mother of Kathryn Kirkham Jewett, entered into our Lord's rest on Oct. 21, 2017. Lorine was born on the 4th of July, 1933 and for each year thereafter, was a constant joy to all who knew her. She worked in the Oil and Production department of Union Producing Company until she married her husband of 58 years, James Kirkham, Jr., M.D. She accompanied him on his tour of duty as a Captain and medical officer in the Air Force stationed in Tokyo, Japan. After the tour, Lorine was a dedicated stay at home mom until her daughter Kathryn entered high school. She then transitioned to managing Dr. Kirkham's Psychiatric practice where she enjoyed helping others for over 35 years. Lorine experienced great personal satisfaction helping those with psychiatric illness or disability live more satisfying lives.
