Louis Fred King III
1952-2021
Louis Fred “Freddy” King III, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on August 23, 2021. Freddy, a native Houstonian, was born January 28, 1952 to Louis Fred King, Jr. and Ada Ruth Inman King.
Freddy graduated from Galena Park High School in 1970 and went to work in the trucking and transportation industry. He worked for several companies in various positions over the years, the last being Rush Truck Center, where he was in international parts sales.
Freddy was an avid bowler and skier until his health declined. He bowled numerous 300 games and was a member of various leagues and bowling associations where he had made many friends.
Freddy was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. His beloved dogs, Sassy, Abby and Maddie were waiting for him by the Rainbow Bridge. He is survived by his wife, Penny and son, Sean. Also, surviving Freddy is his sister, Ellen Castillo and husband, Bill; his nephew, Billy Castillo and wife, Kantessa as well as other relatives in Houston, Austin, College Station and Arkansas.
Freddy was generous, kind and very tender-hearted but could also be very stubborn. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. If anyone would like to remember Freddy, please give to your chosen animal shelter or sanctuary in his name.
