Mark Edward Morrow, 70, of Houston, Texas, passed away Monday, April 8th, 2019 after a hard fought battle with cancer. Mark was born in Amarillo, Texas on October 20th, 1948 to William Frewen Morrow and Dorothy Lovette.
Mark earned his undergraduate degree from University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida and his master's degree from University of South Florida in Tampa. He relocated from Florida to Houston in 1998 where he was employed by the City of Houston Public Library System and retired in 2015. His interests were in building, fixing and designing all things and had a love of cars. He spent a lot of time over the years fishing in his favorite spot in Victoria, Texas with his dear friends Dwaine and Gary.
Mark Morrow is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn Plunkett Morrow, stepson Thomas Plunkett and his wife Krista Plunkett; stepdaughter Kristen Stephenson and her husband Matthew Stephenson; four grandsons, Hayden, Gunnar, and Liam Plunkett and Charley Stephenson; two Aunts and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Lane Morrow.
A celebration of life will be held in his honor on Saturday, May 4th, 2019.
