Mary Zientek

Mary Denise Zientek, Age 52, was born on December 20, 1969, in Flint Michigan, went to be with her Heavenly Father on October 6, 2022, surrounded by loved ones after a hard-fought battel with cancer.

Denise was a dedicated and loving wife and mother who was an inspiration, joy, and a ray of sunshine to all her family and friends. Her greatest joy was being with and cooking for her family. She enjoyed taking her dog to Goforth dog park where she would admire the steeple of her church, West Houston Church of Christ, where she enjoyed praying to her Lord Jesus Christ.

Denise is survived by her devoted husband Marc Zientek, daughter Shelby Zientek, her mother Kathy Chapin, father Jerry Chapin, sister Jennifer Chapin, stepmother Lynn Kallay-Brown and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother Jeremy Chapin. In addition, she leaves behind her beloved in-laws Larry Zientek, Susan Zientek and Jeffery Zientek.

In lieu of flowers Denise wanted donations to be made to one of the following: MD Anderson Cancer Center, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the ASPCA.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
