MERLA P. PRESTON "COOKIE" 3/4/1951-6/17/2015 Merla P Preston "Cookie", age 64, passed away peacefully in her home in Houston, TX on Wednesday June 17, 2015. Cookie was born March 3, 1951 in Ironton, OH. She was happily married to husband Thomas Preston. She was extremely outgoing, loving, and funny. She was a travel agent and loved spending any free time she had with her husband on a windjammer somewhere. Cookie fought a hard battle with breast cancer. She will forever be loved and missed by all of her friends.
