Michael Mccaulley

Michael Lynn McCaulley was born December 13, 1968 in Long Beach, California. He was hard working, always striving to do his best. Michael loved his wife, children, family, his dogs, music, and nature. The Appalachian Trail and swimming in Lake Michigan were favorites. An honor graduate from Erskine Theological Seminary, his call to serve God full time came in early midlife after fruitful years in business. Ordained in the UCC, Michael was called to ministry as chaplain at Hospice of the Upstate. "This is the best 'job' I could ever imagine." He brought God's love and deep comfort to many during his years as hospice chaplain. His going home to be with God on March 15, 2016 brings sadness to Heidi, his wife of nearly 24 years, his children Fenn (14) and Fiona (12) his parents Ron and Lynda McCaulley, older sister Elizabeth, younger brother Jeffery (Michelle) and extended family, but also joy that he is now home with God whom he has well served. A memorial service at Pendleton United Methodist Church, 217 S Broad St, Pendleton, SC 29670 will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 4:00 pm with the reception and receiving of friends to follow.
