Michael Ray Velasquez

Preceding Mike in death by Parents Carmen & Mike Velasquez, Sr.; & brother Paul Velasquez; grandparents; Catalina & Mauro Velasquez and Guadalupe & Manuel Calderon; Fiancée Jane Rendon

Mike was a graduate of Jefferson Davis High School, Graduate of  Houston Community College with an Associate of Applied Science in Business Management. Worked many years with Schlumberger. He was self-employed in Velasquez Specialties supplying businesses with promotional items.  As a member of United States Marine Corps, he was a veteran of Vietnam.

Mike was a talented artist, reflecting his experiences of war in most of his work.  Proficient in silk screening, he also liked designing T-shirts and silk screening.  

A loving service to Our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ was most important in his life.  As such, Mike was a vigilant prayer warrior offering prayer for any person needing healing whether for health or spiritual.

The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to friends for their expressions of love, sympathy, and prayers during this time of sorrow.  Thank you for being a gift of love to Mike as he journeyed in life.  May Peace be with you,
