Born January 26, 1969 in Arizona to Ralph and Colleen Cain. Always a delight and a handful growing up, she was an extrovert and people person. Her dream was to be a rock star and she was "queen of all things!" Hilariously witty and fun, she kept everyone laughing. Throughout school and beyond, her family and friends were most important to her. Michelle got her first job at thirteen and in high school even worked three jobs simultaneously. She trained at the International Travel Institute in Houston and worked in the travel industry for 30 years. She had recently been promoted to Global Product Manager at her company. One of her new co-workers in Manila had started calling her Mommy Michelle. She had a huge heart and was always trying to take care of everyone. Her love, Tim, says they never passed a person who looked like they needed help that she didn't stop and do what she could. She would ask distraught strangers if she could pray for them and offer practical assistance. Michelle's faith was strong and she was baptized on Easter Sunday 19 years ago. She was the youngest elder at Heights Christian Church and even preached a few sermons. The last entry in her notebook had this handwritten verse, "In returning and rest, you shall be saved; in quietness and confidence shall be your strength". Isaiah 30:15 Michelle was beloved and will be deeply missed. She is survived by her mother Colleen, father Ralph, stepfather John, sister Shannon, longtime love Tim, goddaughter Taylor, godson Andy and many family and friends.
