Milica Kerkezovic

Milica Kerkezovic. age 81, gained her wings on Tuesday, the 15th of March. She was born on May 15th, 1940, in Cacak, Serbia. She grew up with her father and siblings. She migrated to New York City in her early 20s and fell in love with this city instantly. Milica was a strong, hardworking, caring, and kind woman, who always did so much for others. Eventually she married and had two daughters. She was a wonderful mother, who did everything for her children and instilled great values in them. She taught them to be strong, independent, and to never give up. In her free time, she loved to take walks, listen to music, and crochet. She was an extremely talented women who spoke three languages: Serbian, Italian, and English. She was blessed with four amazing grandchildren.  They brought her the most joy in her life and she loved them with all her heart.

Milica is survived by her two daughters, Barbara and Christina, her son-in-laws Kevin and Josh, and her beloved grandchildren Alexander, Nicholas, Alyssa, and Isabella.

We know that we can’t have you, but we are happy knowing that God has finally got you back. Goodbye to a wonderful woman, a beautiful mother and grandmother. Rest easy mom until we all meet again.
