Nancy Suzanne

The life and memory of Nancy McCallister will be remembered and celebrated at The Greenridge North Missionary Baptist Church on Thursday May 11, 2017 at 7:00pm. Nancy McCallister was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on September 10, 1950. She went to be with the Lord on May 6th 2017. She was the first of six children born to Norma and Glen McCallister. She was also the first grandchild to Earnie and Nancy Loft, her maternal grandparents. She was a mother and gave birth to one child, a beautiful daughter she named Kimberly. Other than the place of her birth she resided in Irving TX, New Orleans LA., Tampa FL., Stone Mountain, GA., and Houston TX. Her occupations, other than a wife, mother, and grandmother was a clerk for the US Postal service, a convenience store manager and a door to door salesperson. Success came easy at each of her job duties as she possessed a detailed and intelligent mind. Family members share with us that she made straight A's in school. She excelled at work as well. She had a fondness for her regular customers and could recollect names as well as past conversations. She found the same proficiency with her sales jobs and would carry on long conversations inside the customers homes leading to a sales order. There was one occasion when she was working on her birthday and made a friend with a prospect who gave her the order and a $20.00 bill for her birthday. She made friends very easily and loved her family deeply. She often joked that because she was the oldest she was stuck with the baby sitting duties of her five siblings Debbie, Cory, Tammy, Kelly and Barry. Nancy was soft spoken but spoke out when it came time to share about her grandchildren. She would say that she had been richly blessed by her daughters kids Jenna, Johnny and Kaela. Another favorite of hers was her Uncle Vic Costa. Her Aunt Charlotte was present at her bedside at the time of her passing. She is survived by her boyfriend Kenny Klienworth and her dog Lulu. Her family also included Nephews: Dr. Brent Wolverton O.D., Andrew Barber, Esq. Kyle Kiesov, Alex Calhoun, Jackson J. McCallister, and great nephew Mason Pitts, Blake and Bryce Wolverton. Her Nieces are Tarra Pitts, Casey Shelman, Carly Wescott, and Victoria McCallister. Her great Nieces are Kylee and Kennedy Westcott as well as Hailey Jade Wolverton. There are numerous loving cousins, uncle and aunts and many friends that knew her and share in the celebration of her life. We will all miss her greatly but know that one day we will be reunited in our eternal heavenly home!
