Nicholas Blaine Murray

Nicholas Blaine Murray was born February 15, 1949 in Call, Texas.  He passed away on August 4, 2023 at the age of 74 in his daughter’s home in Cypress, Texas with family by his side.  He was a long-time resident of Albany, Louisiana and was a construction foreman for decades working for underground utilities contractors throughout South Louisiana and Texas.  He enjoyed spending time with close friends and family, being outdoors, time on the water fishing, and sharing a good joke.

He was preceded in death by his parents Johnny Murray and Selwyn Murray, his brother Cary “Bubba” Murray, and his brother-in-law Paul Jones.  He is survived by his two daughters - Tricia and Elmer Lobell, and Katy Cravens; three siblings - brother Chris Murray, sisters Karen Jones and Kathy and Leslie Wright; five grandchildren - Audrey, Brooke, and Reese Lobell; Asher and Camden Cravens.

A memorial service will be held on August 19 at Blood River Church of God in Springfield, Louisiana at 11:00am.
