With deepest sorrow, we announce that Nikolas Ian Koob (Nik), age 39, dad, son, brother, family member and friend, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, while in the hospital.
Nik will be missed everyday by his daughters, Melania and Marlowe, along with their mother, Mia Triyani Koob, his parents, Karl and Beverly Koob, sister and brother in law, Dorothy and Greg Fulton, nephew and niece, Tyler and Kayley, his loving aunts, uncles, cousins and many great friends.
Nik’s hobbies included listening to music, watching sports, bowling, and he was a huge movie connoisseur. Nik often reached out to family and friends with his latest recommendations. He enjoyed walks and trips to the park with his daughters and spending time at the camp hunting with his Dad.
Nik was a graduate of West Monroe High School. After graduation he earned his BS degree in Business Administration, MBA in Finance and Accounting and was pursuing his MBA in Project Management at Louisiana State University. Nik was employed by Engie North America Inc. where he was an Accounting Advisor.
