Noe Marcus Franco

Noe was born on May 30th, 1964 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Benito and Virginia Franco. He attended elementary school in the Spring Branch area, one being Valley Oaks Elementary where his daughter Melissa currently teaches 2nd grade. Noe graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1982 where he played saxophone in the marching band. Soon after graduating, he moved to Stuart, Florida where he met his wife Wendy and worked tirelessly to provide for his growing family. He moved back to Texas to be closer to his family, and began his 25 year career at Texas Children’s Hospital. Every job he had, Noe worked as unto the Lord with dedication, and conviction and left an impact on everyone who knew him. He brought joy into each day with quick-witted humor and an easy-going attitude.

Most importantly, he had a private and intimate relationship with Jesus characterized by his deep thoughtfulness about honor, truth, meaning and righteousness which dictated his every action and decision. Despite his imperfections, Noe trusted his life to Christ and allowed that same faith to work itself out in love towards his family, his friends, and even those he didn’t know.

Noe spent his free time with his family playing games, working out, and watching movies. His adventures even included paragliding, target practice, batting cages, fishing, sitting by the ocean, and enjoying delicious meals. We will always remember Noe as a gentle, kind, funny, wise and understanding man who loved fiercely.

Noe is survived by Wendy, his wife of 38 years, their two sons Marcos and Matthew, and their wives Beverly and Samantha, his two daughters Melissa and Makayla and her husband Jonathan Boring, his two grandchildren Marcos Jr. and Eveline, his parents Virginia and Benito, his sister Patsy and her husband Lazaro Perez, his nephew Patrick and his wife Annamarie, his cousin Elizabeth and her husband Chris Tidwell and their children Anna, her husband Jonathan Hyltin, Christian, and Isabel Tidwell.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 5th at 11:00am with reception to follow at Houston’s First Baptist Church in the Chapel. Noe’s ashes will be scattered at Lake Delancy in Florida, a special place where he loved to spend his time. The family asks that flower donations for the service be sent to the church by 10am Saturday morning.
