Lu had several friendships she developed through her life, from work and special neighborhood friends. She retired from Avaya after a 30 year career with the phone company. She treasured her Wednesday night gatherings with her neighbors that were so special to her. Lu never met a stranger and always welcomed everyone to be a part of the family. Lu's loving and giving demeanor will certainly be missed, however rejoice knowing we will be with her again in time. We are all so blessed and thankful to have had the pleasure and honor of knowing Lu. A memorial mass in remembrance of Lu will be celebrated at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church, 1530 Norwalk Dr. in Katy on Friday May 1, 2015 at 11:00am. A second memorial / internment will be scheduled in the near future, as her final resting place will be in the Laguna Seca Ranch family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to your favorite charity in her honor. Please feel free to share your stories or pictures and wonderful time with Lu. Our family thanks you all for the wonderful friendships you have afforded each other and comfort you gave Lu. 2 Corinthians 1:3; "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort."
