Norma Burch

Norma Gwendolyn Burch (Purvis) died on July 11, 2018 peacefully at age 81. Gwen, as she was known, was born on July 9, 1937 in the small town of Plainview, TX to Lorenzo Lee Purvis and Stella Francis Chancy (Purvis). She lived in Pasadena and the surrounding area for over 48 years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, shopping, vacationing, and painting. Gwen is survived by her best friend George Harris and her children Chelle Sweat, Kerri Burch, and Danna Burns; her son-in-law's Derick Sweat and Lynn Burns; and her grandchildren Sasha Simmons, Chance Simmons, Amanda Fry, Dan Fry, Brittney Burns, Haden Burns, and Mason Burns. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday July 22, 2018 at Bayshore Towers, 3219 Burke Rd., Pasadena, TX 77504 at 2:00 pm.
