On Saturday, August 31, 2019, Pablo Castillo, loving husband and father, passed away peacefully of Vascular Dementia / Alzheimer's at home at the age of 78 surrounded by his family.
Pablo was born on June 22, 1941 in Progresso, Texas to the late Francisco and Maria Castillo.
Pablo is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary Castillo and their children Ray Castillo of Melbourne, Australia; Roman Castillo of Beloit, WI; Moses Castillo of Houston, TX; Maria Castillo Johnson of Pasadena, TX; by children of previous relationships Colleen Diller of Portland, OR and Caramia Morse-Castillo of Pequot Lakes, MN; Sister Lydia Castillo of Portland, OR and brother Frank Castillo of Maui, HI; 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Pablo was known for his singing, endless jokes and he enjoyed watching western TV re-runs. He was a welder/pipefitter/foreman most of his life, but his best role was Dad and Grandpa.
